Deep in the West Fork Valley of the San Juan Mountains lies a glacial lake that is the centerpiece of a rare 160-acre in-holding homesteaded in 1897 by the wild west legend Dutch Henry Born. The construction of the new Lodge combines the best of log and timber framing in a relatively rare technique called ‘Piece on Piece.’
